Leadership Award

The Leadership Award recognises young people aged 11–18 who lead through action, not title. They bring others with them, set a standard, and quietly raise the bar for everyone around them. Their leadership might be on a team, in a classroom, in a youth group, or in their wider community.

What we're looking for

• Leads by example and earns the respect of peers
• Empowers, encourages or mentors others
• Takes responsibility and follows through
• Shapes the culture of their team, class or community for the better

Examples of nominees

A team captain who lifts every team-mate, a peer mentor, a student council leader, or a young person heading up a club, project or social action campaign.
