About this award
The Creative Excellence Award celebrates young people aged 11–18 whose creative work, in art, music, performance, writing, film, design, digital media or innovation, stands out for its originality, craft and the courage to put something personal into the world.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrates skill, originality and a distinct creative voice
- Has shared, performed or produced creative work
- Uses creativity to express ideas, identity or community
- Shows commitment to their craft and continued growth
Examples of nominees
A young musician, songwriter, filmmaker, dancer, artist, writer, designer or content creator producing work that genuinely moves an audience.
Self-nominations are warmly encouraged.
