Steve Browne Foundation, Power of Potential
Our story

The Steve Browne Foundation

Built on the conviction that potential lives in every postcode, and the belief that the people closest to it deserve to be celebrated.

Mission

To unlock potential, and put a spotlight on the people doing the work.

We invest in young people, mentors and community organisations through programmes, funding and visibility. The Power of Potential Gala Awards are how we make that visibility unmistakable.

Young people and mentors
Why the awards

Recognition is a resource.

The people changing lives often work in the quietest rooms. Recognition opens doors, to funding, networks, attention, and the belief that what they do matters. That is what these awards are designed to deliver.

Founder

Vision

"Every young person we meet has something extraordinary in them. Our job isn't to give it to them, it's to make sure the conditions are right for it to come out, and to celebrate it loudly when it does."
