We are honoured to be joined by athletes and advocates who will host tables on the night and champion the work of the Steve Browne Foundation.
Kevin Young is an Olympic gold medallist and former 400m hurdles world-record holder. Since retiring from elite athletics he has used his platform to mentor young people, promote discipline and resilience, and support programmes that help the next generation realise their potential. At the gala he will host a table and help us recognise the young people proving that opportunity plus determination changes lives.
Troy Townsend is a respected educator and equality advocate, currently Head of Player Engagement at Kick It Out. With years of experience in classrooms, football academies and community settings, he understands how the right mentor at the right moment can reroute a young person's future. Troy will host a table and champion the mentors, teachers and youth workers who make the Power of Potential possible.
Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured and donation received helps us continue investing in programmes that support young people through mentoring, education, employability, wellbeing and opportunity.
